When 12-year-old Marko receives a mysterious package from Spain, his life is turned upside down. Inside the package are his grandparents—enchanted and transformed into two scarves, yet determined to keep an eye on him and meddle in his life. Meanwhile, Marko is trying to fit in at school and get closer to Kim, his crush. But with his grandparents in his backpack, he repeatedly finds himself in chaotic and embarrassing situations. And amidst it all, he begins to learn more about his family, his father, and the person he himself wants to become.
