Hassan is an unemployed young graduate who is particularly unlucky or perhaps even cursed. After finally receiving his long-awaited job offer letter, he sets out to complete the necessary paperwork for his hiring. However, his mother warns him never to step outside whenever "Da Mouh," the man with the evil eye, is around. Hassan dismisses the superstition... Once outside, he trips and gets his hand stuck in a sewer grate. Paramedics try to free him to no avail, the only way to release Hassan is to saw through the grate. That is where things get truly complicated because the grate is municipal property, Hassan needs an official permit before anyone can cut it. Hassan's troubles have only just begun.
